About Us

Building Safe, Supportive Communities

Empowering Healing, Inspiring Change

DJW Solutions, LLC established its Reach Back Campaign in 2019 to increase Domestic Violence Awareness.  The campaign initially began with founder Drenda Williams’ personal journey as a survivor and expanded with the creation of two cosmetic products designed for woman and men. In 2025, wellness drinks were added to provide advocacy through non-traditional methods, with a percentage of each sale donated annually to domestic violence shelter that support both men and women.

Established in 2025 as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Reach Back Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives affected by domestic violence and supporting youth on their journey to empowerment. Our roots are grounded in a commitment to advocacy, healing, and creating safe spaces where every individual can thrive.

We believe in the power of community. Our programs provide survivors and young people with the tools, mentorship, and resources needed to rebuild confidence and step into leadership roles. Through workshops, support groups, and outreach initiatives, we nurture resilience and foster hope for a brighter future.

Our team is composed of passionate advocates, mentors, and professionals who share a vision for a world free from violence. Each member brings unique skills and empathy, working together to ensure that every person who reaches out to us finds understanding, guidance, and care.

Your support helps us expand our reach, deliver vital services, and empower more individuals to break the cycle of violence. Together, we can inspire positive change and build a stronger, more compassionate community.

Founder’s Story

A Journey of Survival, Strength, and Purpose

Reach Back Foundation was created from the lived experience of its founder, Drenda Williams, a domestic violence survivor whose life was forever changed the moment she chose to fight for her safety, her future, and her voice. After surviving years of abuse, Drenda discovered that healing becomes even more powerful when it is shared — when one person’s resilience creates pathways for others to rise.

Drenda began sharing her story publicly in 2018, connecting with audiences across the country and offering hope to survivors who felt unseen or unheard. Her message was simple but life-changing: your past does not define your future, and your healing can inspire healing in others. What started as personal advocacy quickly grew into a movement.

Driven by her commitment to “reach back” and help those still navigating trauma, she expanded her work through DJW Solutions, LLC, using non-traditional methods — including product-based awareness and community partnerships — to support shelters and provide essential resources to survivors.

In 2025, Drenda transformed that mission into a long-term vision by establishing Reach Back Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering survivors, uplifting youth, and strengthening Kansas City communities. Today, her personal journey fuels every program, every partnership, and every act of service the foundation provides. Drenda’s story is one of hope, resilience, and purpose — and it continues to inspire a future where healing, safety, and empowerment are accessible to all.
